Rev. Dr Andrew Menzies

Rev. Dr Andrew Menzies

Andrew and Kim have been in full-time ministry in diverse roles including as a youth pastor, rural school chaplain, Bible college principal, and in state-wide leadership roles, but his primary passion has always been located in the potential of a local Kingdom Community who know Christ and seek to make Him known. He loves the Bible and is committed to relevant and applicable teaching and preaching of the good news of Jesus and the potential of Jesus’ people to shine light and love in a hurting world. He is therefore committed to supporting people as they live for Christ in real, practical, loving ways in diverse contexts including at work, in a cafe or pub, in a local sporting club, in the family, etc.

Andrew was born in Melbourne and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Victoria University), a Bachelor of Ministries (Melbourne School of Theology – Australian College of Theology), a Master of Ministry (Charles Sturt University – St Marks National Theological Centre), and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary CA. He teaches annually in the Doctor of Ministry program at Abilene Christian University TX, regularly teaches in Asia, loves coaching and mentoring people, is active in local sporting clubs, and is the co-author of Kingdom Communities: Shining the light of Christ through faith, hope and love.

Andrew and his wife Kim who is an accredited practicing Dietitian and owner of What’s Your Gut Feeling? have been in ministry since their mid-twenties. They have two teenagers and are passionate about Jesus, community and seeing each person fully become who God has created them to be.
