Alpha Course

What’s Alpha? Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. The talks are designed to encourage conversation in a friendly, open and informal environment. No questions are out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

Basketball

The Victorian Churches Basketball Association is a unique basketball league held on Monday Nights at The Rings (Ringwood Basketball Stadium). The goal of the association is to provide opportunities to present Jesus through good sportsmanship, fun and relationship.

Conversational English Class

Each Thursday, from 10 am to midday we invite anyone, for whom English is a second language, to join us for a short combined English lesson followed by morning tea. after morning tea tutors will meet with small groups of ‘students’ to practice conversational English.

Soccer

MBCSC started way back 1999 when a group of friends with a shared passion for soccer got together and decided to create a team. The ethos of the club was ‘mates playing with mates’ and still harbouring a competitive spark. Seasons go from March through September each year with both pre-season and mid week training to help sharpen those skills and keep up our fitness.

The Big LAN

We recognise that different people connect in different ways. Therefore, as well as reaching out to the sports communities we want to engage with the gaming community also. Overseen by one of our Young Adults Jacob Rayment and his team, The Big LAN seeks to bring ‘gamers’ together from all over the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne to connect with one another for a 12 hour gaming session.
