Sunday worship
Our various Sunday worship congregations present opportunities for you to connect with God as well as others in a casual, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere.
Each provide inspirational music, a life-giving message from the Bible and an opportunity to grow in your faith. We strive to provide an environment where everyone and anyone can come and experience the love of God in a warm and modern environment.
ENGLISH SPEAKING Congregation
Time: 10 am
Location: Main Auditorium
Each service is led by one of our accomplished and spiritually sensitive worship teams. Contemporary music, spiritual vitality, stories and prayer are important elements. Any one of our pastoral team, or occasionally a visiting speaker brings a timely and Bible based message usually with application in daily life.
We also have age-specific programs for kids from birth through to fifth grade each Sunday morning. We have a child-minding room in the auditorium as well as crèche led by a Child-Safe qualified team. Other kids leave for BLAST (kid’s church) a short time after the worship service has begun.
MANDARIN SPEAKING Congregation
Time: 10 am
Location: Simla Room, Church premises

Our Mandarin services are held in the spacious ‘Simla Room’ by the front entrance to our building. The Mandarin services run parallel with the services in the auditorium and both congregations enjoy morning tea together.
Our Mandarin congregation also have age-specific programs for kids from birth through to fifth grade each Sunday morning. Our crèche is led by a Child-Safe qualified team. Other kids leave for BLAST (kid’s church) a short time after the worship service has begun.
sunday evening WORSHIP Service
Time: 6 pm
Location: Main Auditorium
All ages are most welcome while this service especially provides an opportunity for youth, young adults and the young at heart to meet together to worship Jesus learn from the Bible and apply it to our lives.
This congregation focuses on being relevant to youth and young adults in particular. This is evident from the style of music and the messages from the Bible however, everyone is always welcome!
traditional service
Once or twice a year a traditional service is offered at MBC on a Thursday at 11:30 am followed by a tasty lunch. Hymns from the Baptist hymnal are used, and a guest speaker is arranged. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and encouragement for those who love digging into our rich heritage and seeing it come alive in the twenty-first century.
